Dynamic Characteristic Analysis of the Hydraulic Shock Absorber for Sled Impact Test Hu Jingwen, Zhang Jinhuan, Huang Shilin State Key Lab of Automotive Safety and Energy, Tsinghua University [Abstract] Sled impact test is one of the most important branches in the field of automotive passive safety, and the shock absorber is the key device of it. This paper analyzed a variety of requirements presented by the diverse purposes. Basing on the impact tests and simulation, three dynamic characteristics of hydraulic shock absorber were analyzed, and some methods for controlling the deceleration wave of sled impact tests were enumerated as well.
