An automatic measuring system for testing PTC alternating current impulse characteristics is developed.The measuring principle,hardware design and software design are described in detail.The I t curve and aging property can be automatically measured by using this system which is mainly made up of three functional modules:data acquisition,programmable channel switches and data calculation.The system has some advantages such as advanced structure,high efficiency and high stability.
